Evil Dead: The Game Delayed Again, Will Now Arrive In May

Update [Wed 9th Feb, 2022 00:15 GMT]: Evil Dead: The Game got a new trailer today to make up for the delay last month, but it seems that’s not the only news. The Switch version might not arrive alongside the other versions on 13th May 2022 – with Saber Interactive and Boss Games providing the following update (via Nintendo Everything):

“scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch in the future.”

You can view the latest age-restricted trailer showing off the pre-order bonuses over on YouTube.

Original article [Sat 29th Jan, 2022 04:30 GMT]: It seems we’ll have to wait just a little bit longer for Bruce Campbell’s return as Ash Williams – with Saber Interactive announcing Evil Dead: The Game will no longer arrive this February.

In an update on social media, it was revealed the new title would now be released on 13th May 2022. It follows on from a series of delays – the previous one was back in August last year.

In some additional tweets, Saber mentioned how this would allow the team to get things “just right” and thanked everyone for their patience and understanding.

Instead of releasing the game in February, pre-order information and a new trailer will now be shared in the same month. Right now, it’s unclear how exactly this will impact the Nintendo Switch release.
